Group and One-to-One Coaching
What Is Personal Coaching?
Many of us are weary of doing what we "should" do. Instead, we want to start centering our lives on what matters most to us.

Part of what Coaches do with clients is to help them discover their gifts, talents, wants, values, needs and dreams, as well as come to understand what motivates and inspires them. The more aware you are, the better choices you can make for yourself.

No one knows you better than yourself. No one else knows what you value, what matters most deeply to you, and what you want to create for your life. Do you know what you want? If so, are you faced with obstacles that seem to get in the way? Are you putting off what you want "till later"? Or if you already have what you want, would you like more of it? Hire a Coach.

What Happens in the Coaching Process?
Lots of things. You make an investment in yourself. You start taking your life more seriously. You stop "putting up with" situations that drain your energy and drag you down. You begin to focus in the present, and take more effective action. You start to generate momentum, so that results come faster.

People hire a coach because they want more, they want to grow, and they want it without the struggle. It's as simple as that.

How Do I Hire the Right Coach?
Coaches come from varied backgrounds: Teaching, Counseling, Marketing, Corporate Consulting, and more. So it's important to identify whether he or she is experienced in the areas in which you want support. Here are three key questions to ask:
(1) What qualifies you to coach me?
Don't be fearful of putting a prospective coach on the spot. Ask questions — and listen. You'll also be able to assess the coach's personality, style, and attitude. Mutual admiration isn't required, but good rapport is essential to the Coach-Client relationship.
(2) What's your specialty?
If the coach's specialty is Financial Management, and you're entering a mid-life crisis, you don't even have a common vocabulary — much less a match. The more precise your requirements, the better a specialist can help.
(3) How would you handle my situation?
A good coach will ask perceptive questions, and probe beneath the surface. The answers will also tell you something about his or her ability to listen, and understand where you are in your life.
