Knowledge Shared Gains in Power
If you've ever lived in a small town, you remember how a Bulletin Board enhanced a sense of community. The board was usually in some central place: library, post office, town hall, etc. Residents could post all kinds of things: announcements, meetings, items for sale, and so on. An electronic discussion board works in the same fashion. You can view a discussion, add your own response to it, or start a new discussion. It's an excellent way to have a conversation about issues, ask questions, get feedback, and share expertise. |
